Cultural Studies

Cultural Studies is a unique subject created to precisely fit the needs of our diverse population of students at DPS. It follows the Intercultural Understanding curriculum strand and is taught from Prep – Grade Six. Prep students start by learning about ‘What is Culture?’ and the ‘Cultures of our School’. As they progress through the school, students learn about Indigenous Australian Culture, diverse world cultures, celebrations of the world and how to combat prejudice and racism.
