Level Four Camp Rumbug
Camp Rumbug is located in the majestic hills of South Gippsland and set in the temperate rain forest overlooking Wilson’s Promontory National Park. For many students, Camp Rumbug affords them their first opportunities towards independence. The camping program enables students to develop physical and academic skills in unfamiliar contexts. It provides experiences for students to demonstrate initiative, teamwork, resilience, persistence and compromise in a supportive and encouraging environment. The camp experience is designed to challenge and build each student’s self-confidence.
Level Six Camp Canberra
Each year our Level Six students fly to Canberra for one week. The camp provides an authentic and enjoyable educational experience that connects with the Victorian Curriculum in Civics and Citizenship, Geography, Science and Health. The camping program promotes team bonding and student wellbeing. The students visit Telstra Tower, Geoscience Centre, Australian Institute of Sport, National Museum Australia, Ian Potter Foundation Technology Learning Centre, Parliament House, Museum of Australian Democracy, Australian War Memorial, Questacon, Royal Australian Mint and take a boat cruise along Lake Burley Griffin.
